Extremely Rare & Important Pewter Drinking Vessel, Persia, Ca 1680.

Decorated all around in typical Persian style including inscriptions that we are unable to identify.
This is a museum quality piece in a very good condition considering its age, with minor dents and wear.
We were advised that it was been used in one of the more important mosques in Persia, probably in the holy city of Qom (also known as Q’um or Kom), but we don’t have any documents or direct evidence to support it.
A masterpiece drinking vessel of the highest quality.
