Designed in 1953.
Very good condition, very light scuff spot to the extrior.
This is Sarpaneva’s most famous design and although it is called a vase it doesn’t pretend to be a vase – it’s a sculpture!
It won the “Grand Prix” at the 1954 Milan Triennale and was voted the “Most Beautiful Object of the Year” by House Beautiful magazine
