Modeled as a young maiden carrying her guitar on an oval base signed D. Charol.
This sculpture was designed by the Russian artist Dorothea Charol (1889-1963) who was a member of the Russian colony of Russian emigrants in Berlin.
In 1920’s she was the most prominent designer for the art department of the Rosenthal Bahnhof-Selb factory.
