Rare Silver Plated Pewter Hanukkah Menorah, Rhein Valley, Germany, Early 18th Century, Judaica.

The menorah is cast and engraved, the backplate depicts two ramping lions flanking a cartouche engraved “M 1737”, topped with a Torah crown and a hole to enable hanging.
The eight oil fonts are under a hinged lid (damaged) and set on four shape supports.
Detachable servant light (Shamosh).
Fine Patina.
Good condition with damages to the lid and the base (as seen in the pictures).

A rare authentic example of 18th century pewter Hanukkah Menorah.

Marked with French silver marks and maker’s mark for Olier & Caron.
