Sterling Silver Hanukkah Menorah, Morris Salkind, London, England, 1925.
The menorah is set on a round stepped base, made with a fluted stem topped with a sculptured deer head.
The eight candleholders / oil fonts are set on eight stylized arms that emerge from the top of the stem as if they were the deer’s antlers.
The Menorah’s top is centered with a Star of David on top a deer’s head.
Fronted with a servant light (Shamosh).
Fully hallmarked for London, England, dated 1925, maker’s mark for the renowned silversmith Morris Salkind.
