The knife’s blade can be fold into a mother of pearl handle with a vacant shield shape cartouche.
The blade is beautifully engraved with foliage and quilted ornaments.
Decorated metal spine.
Fully hallmarked for Sheffield, England, dated 1909, maker’s mark for John Yeomans Cowlishaw.
