Pair Of 950 Silver Torah Finials (Rimonim) Vienna, Austro-Hungary, Ca 1890, Judaica.
Chased and pierced with floral and foliate ornaments, each hung with six bells to the mid section and three bells to the top section, topped with a gilded Star of David.
The stems with an Hebrew and English inscription that reads: “A thanksoffering to the God on high a memorial in the temple of the Lord from Ephraim Dulberg and his wife Rachel in the year 5658”.
The 1891 Census Ephraim Dulberg and his wife Rachel, living with their three sons and one daughter at 75 Bury New Road, Salford, Lancashire.
Described as a Commission agent, he was born in Russia; Mrs. Dulberg and all the children, the youngest of whom was 14 years old, were all born in Romania.
