Continental Sterling Silver Ethrog Box, 1970’s

The oval box is chased and embossed with grape clusters and vine leaves, centered with two vacant cartouches (not monogrammed).
The hinged cover is beautifully decorated with high relief of the Ethrog fruit above the Hebrew inscription “Ve’Lakachtem Lachem Pri Etz Hadar” (shall have the citrus fruit).
Set on four stylized supports.

Marked – 925 for sterling silver and also with English import marks for London, dated 1978, importer mark “IBB”.
