Polish Silver Torah Shield (Tas), Ca 1850

The shield is made with scrolled foliate chased border, two ramping lions flanking a seven light Menorah below a torah crown.
The shield is also made with a plaque box with a silver plaque inscribed in Hebrew “Rosh Hashanah”.
Connected with a hanging chain.
