Brass Wailing Wall Mezuzah Case, Israel, 1950’s
Beautifully decorated with a depiction of the Western Wall (Ha’Kotel Ha’Maaravi), inscribed on top in English “Wailing Wall” and below it with the Hebrew initials “SHADAI” which stands for “Shomer Dlatot Israel” (Keeper of the doors of Israel).
The bottom is inscribed in Hebrew – “Jerusalem”.
