Rare Antique Russian Silver Cigarette Case With Vesta Match Safe Section, Ca 1880.

Reeded rectangular oval box with gilt interior and an engraved dedication – “Dr. James Myrtle. 18. Dec.1900. In memory of”.
Hinged lid, the lateral lid with roughened surface for striking matches and a safety chain attached to the side of the box.
Marked with Russian silver marks and maker’s mark – “P.S” as seen in the picture.
