Menorat Hameor, Lemberg 1811-1812 Two Volumes Pedigreed Copy Signature Of Rabbi Horowitz

Rabbi Aryeh Leib Horowitz, author of “Harei Besamim”.
Menorat Hameor with the Nefesh Yehuda commentary Lemberg 1811-1812 2 volumes 18cm (6in). 160 (1) 215 leaves blemished, antiquated leather binding. A few worming holes in the text, fair to good condition.
The first volume features the antiquated signature of Klonymous Kalman Halevi Horowitz dated the 7^th of Tamuz 1819, He stamped again on leaf 100.
This signature also appears on the title page of section 2.
On volume 2 on the interior of the binding signature of Rabbi Aryeh Halevi Horowitz with the date 1871.
At the conclusion of the book
“עיני עיני יורדה מים על פטירת אמי הצדקת, יום שבת קודש, פ’ אחרי מוות בחודש אייר כ”ג ס”ה [ספירה העומר] ונקברה ביום מחר כ”ד ספירות העומר תרל”א פק”ק זאלשיץת ארי’ הורוביץ. החותם הוא רבי אריה ליב הורוביץ מחבר הספר “הרי בשמיים”.

This is the signature of Rabbi Aryeh Leib Horowitz author of “Harei Besamim” the encyclopedia L’chchmei Galicia p.183-190 notes that he was appointed Rabbi of Zoltshitz in 1871.
If so all details correspond and this is the signature of a great Galician Gaon.
