Russian Silver Cigarette & Vesta Case, Moicye Ivanov, St. Petersburg, 1878.

The rectangular case is made with a center cigarettes compartment and a match safe vesta compartment with a striker to the hinged lid.
The case is beautifully decorated with engine turned ornaments and centered with engraved scrolled ornaments on both sides.
Marked with Russian silver marks (84 standard), city mark for St. Petersburg, dated 1878, and maker’s mark for Moicye Ivanov.
