Blessing For Reading The Esther Scroll On Parchment, Yemen, Ca 1870.

Of Sephardic tradition.
According to many rites, it was read before the Megillah during Purim.
As argued by the scholar Chiddah (Chaim Yosef David Azulay) in his book Zaware’ Shalal  134b, the poem was recited instead of the Hallel (Talmud downs not read the hallel in Purim) to thank the God for salvation.
