Vintage Olive Wood Mezuzah Case, Israel, 1950’s, Judaica.
The Mezuzah is hand carved with 4 famous Jewish sacred places – the Western Wall, Rachel’s Tomb, Samuel the Prophet Tomb and Yad Avshalom (Absalom’s Tomb) with their names inscribed in Hebrew below.
The Mezuzah is also inscribed “SHDAI” in Hebrew (initials for Shomer Delatot Israel – the keeper of the doors of Israel and one of God names).
Can take a parchment up to 12cm / 4.7in.
