Silver Mounted Glass 4pcs Toilet Jars Set, Vladimir Gordon, St. Petersburg, Ca 1900.

Comprising:
A large scent bottle (Height: 15.5cm / 6.1in).
A small scent bottle (11cm / 4.33in).
A circular box (diameter: 6cm / 2.36in).
A rectangular box (11cm X 5cm / 4.33in X 2in).

The scent / perfume bottles are topped with a screw on silver lid with guilloche borders over gilt silver tips and cut glass stoppers.
All lids with gold washed (gilt) interior.
Marked with Russian silver marks and maker’s mark for Vladimir Aleksejevith Gordon (see below).

Vladimir Aleksejevith Gordon – was a prominent silversmith who also worked for Faberge and Bolin.
He owned a jewellery business and a workshop in St Petersburg in the beginning of the century.
