Rare Silver Torah Crown, Moszek Charlap, Warsaw, Poland, 1893.
The crown is richly chased with flowers and rampant lions bellow six bells pendants from gilt stags, and six bells pedants from gilt birds.
Topped with a large gilt eagle shape finial.
Marked (in several places) with Polish silver marks for Warsaw, dated 1893.
Maker’s mark for Moszek Charlap (marks”M.Charlap” and “M.X” – Cyrillic, worked in Warsaw 1880-1915), assayer’s mark for Joseph Sosnkowski.
Very good, minor crack.
