Of compressed lobed form, with flared foliate scroll rim, the lobed hinged cover with bun finial and shell thumbpiece.
Shaped scroll handle, raised on four shell bracket feet
The rim is engraved with two monogrammes dated “March 1850”.
Blue glass liner.
Fully hallmarked for London, England, dated 1843, maker’s mark for Charles Lias.
