Military Interest – Swordfish Torpedo Bomber Propeller Treen Wood Tobacco Box, 1940’s.

The box was constructed from the central boss of the generator propeller situated on the top wing of a British biplane “Swordfish torpedo bomber”.
This type of aircraft was used in the attack and sinking of the German battleship “Bismarck”.
The box is impressed with a number of aeronautical identification, dated “Oct 36” and other details.
Rectangular base.
