Of rectangular form, with guilloche engraving all around and applied with yellow gold oblong vacant cartouche (not monogrammed).
The gilt (gold washed) interior is made with a hinged grille pierced and engraved with foliate ornaments.

Fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England, dated 1829, maker’s mark for Joseph Bettridge.
