Bezalel Copper & Leather Case With Later Siddur, Jerusalem, 1930’s
The black leather cover is mounted with a copper plaque depicting David’s Tower inscribed in Hebrew “Migdal David” and below “Bezalel” and “Yerushalem”.
The side of the case is inscribed in Hebrew “Ki Beiti Beit Tfila Yirake Le’Kol Ha’Amim” (For my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples).
The interior is fitted with a later added Siddur “Margalit Tova” (Ashkenaz version), printed in Israel, Ca 1950.
