Rare Antique Bezalel Shmuel Kretchmer Bronze Yad Avshalom Plaque, Jerusalem, Ca 1912

Of rectangular shape, beautifully decorated in relief with scenery of Yad Avshalom, inscribed below in Hebrew “Yad Avshalom”. (Absalom’s tomb)
The upper part is adorned with a Star of David (Magen David) on one side and a 7 light Menorah on the other side.
It was made by the renowned Bezalel artist Shmuel Kretchmer (1894-1972) who worked in Bezalel between 1911 – 1913.
